“At turns brutal and compassionate, Where the Heathen Rage is a superb novel about the stubborn endurance of hope, where moments of redemption spark even in the darkest corners of human experience.” Peggy Kurkowski · Independent Book Review
01 The Book

A fierce, lyrical Southern novel about inheritance and redemption.

In a Virginia coal town that the world has already finished with, a baby is left where someone was meant to find her. What follows isn’t a mystery about who did it. It’s a slower, harder question about what a place does with its own anger once the work is gone and the church is all that's left standing.

Where the Heathen Rage is about the wages of faith and the cost of love, and about the single fragile life that can change everything.
